Guidelines

  •  Each team will be given five hours, from 10 am to 3 pm in which team have to locate valuable tree or plant species on campus and identify their importance.
  •  Students should not go into prohibited areas (as per the institute’s guidelines) for clicking photos.
  •  Teams must click photos of the trees/plants and upload them to the google form (will be shared on WhatsApp group also) along with a caption with each photo, mentioning their location and describing their significance. Example: Imli (tamarind)- in front of mechanical building. It is an edible food. It is one of the primary ingredients in Indian cooking Apple tree – near gurudwara in residence area, It is high in fibre. It is an antioxidant.
  •  Each team can submit 10 photographs; If more photos are submitted, the first 10 will be chosen.

Judging Criteria

    Each entry would be judged on basis of:
  • Rarity: How rare/unique is the tree on the campus
  • Significance: The importance of the tree that is described in the caption by the team.
  • Time: The time at which the entry is made.
